  • What are the requirements for becoming a member of Tecniberia?

    The Association’s line of business is defined in article 8 of its articles of association:

    The Association’s individual members shall be legally established companies that carry out their activities in the following areas:

    1. Engineering in all its specialities such as civil engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, structural engineering, etc.
    2. Consulting services in all specialities including engineering, architecture, economy, social, organisation and business management, computer sciences, professional training and education, together with research, development and technological innovation.
    3. Management of the development, construction, operation and conservation of all types of works, services and facilities including forming part of turnkey contracts, or any other legally accepted formulas.

    Likewise, with the aim of facilitating the development and application of its capacities, and given the advances in science and technology, other types of entities and sectoral groups may be represented in the Association, when these are related to the lines of business of member companies, pursuant to the provisions established in the current articles of association.

  • How can I get in contact with engineering companies for a project I am carrying out?

    We can put you in touch with the companies that meet your requirements. To do so, we will need a full description of the project and your contact details so we can submit your query to the most suitable profiles and enable the initial contacts.

  • Who are the member companies?

    Tecniberia companies represent 90% of the sector in terms of turnover. You can view the list of member companies here.

  • Can I hold an event in / with Tecniberia?

    We are open to holding seminars, workshops and, in general, events relating to the engineering and consulting sector. If you are a member, we can help you prepare an event in our offices, or you can send us a proposal for analysis in the relevant Commission or Committee.

  • Can I reserve a conference room at Tecniberia?

    Tecniberia’s conference rooms are available to member companies during opening hours, by booking these in advance and subject to availability. Call us and we will organise it.

  • What are the FIDIC contact forms? When can I purchase them?

    The FIDIC contracts are the standard engineering and construction forms used at an international level. You can find the Spanish and English versions on our online store, where you can conveniently and securely request them by selecting the delivery by courier option in Spain and abroad or, if you prefer, you can collect them free of charge from our offices.

  • How can I apply for a place on FIDIC’s official contract courses?

    You will find all the active editions of the FIDIC courses for each year on the website section. If no active editions are available, you can pre-register and we will send you an email as soon as a new course is organised.

  • How can I submit a claim for a breach of the Public Sector Contracts Act?

    In order to help you with a claim, we need you to send us an email with all the details about the tender (title, reference, bidder, etc.) and an initial brief description of the reason. We will review the information and submit the claim. We will keep you informed throughout the entire process.

    In 2018, over 30 bid specifications were claimed and we obtained favourable responses in most cases.

  • How can I contact companies to organise a consortium?

    We strongly advise attending our commissions, committees and work groups to meet the rest of the members and introduce yourself. We will also provide advice and put you in touch with the contact persons from the member companies based on the consortium profile that best suits your requirements.

  • Can I create a collaboration agreement with Tecniberia?

    In order to create a collaboration agreement, you must contact us and send a collaboration proposal, clearly indicating the added value this has for our members. We will study the proposal and contact you.

  • How can I sign up to the different commissions and committees?

    You can take part in all the internal meetings that are of interest to you. To sign up, you can check the meeting schedule and ask to take part in those that are of interest to you. You can also send us your contact details and we will add you to the distribution lists based on your interests, so you will receive the meeting announcements and relevant information directly by email.

  • How can I request a statement of compliance or a certificate?

    Contact us and we will tell you exactly what you need to do and we will send you the forms for the different certificates and statements we issue that best suits your requirements.

  • Are there any costs involved in job offers? How can I publish them?

  • Can I publish a press release on Tecniberia’s website and social media?

    We publish our members’ press releases, provided they do not contravene the Association’s Code of Ethics. If you are not a member, please check the terms and conditions.

  • How can I resolve a query regarding the interpretation of the Collective Agreement?

    Any interpretation queries shall always be sent by email to: ncristobal@tecniberia.es.
